how to repair the farmhouse

I am super frustrated. I have been trying to progress past building the treehouse. I purchased the game post update, and nothing seems to work. I have no idea what material is needed to upgrade the farmhouse, and all walk throughs and tutorials are of the game pre update. Can anyone please help me?

Have you seen construction altars in the game yet? There's one of those south east of the big circle in the middle of the Heartland - that is the construction altar for the "farmhouse" (Sariel's shop)

It was a bit confusing but I found it out by exploring. You have to fix 2 teleport alters first and it took me awhile to find the second one. I'm not sure if I was just blind or the area where the second one was opened up after something else.

I have the same problem. There is no construction altar in the middle of the Heartland. Neither can I find another teleport alter to fix.
I would love to continue this game, unfortunately I think that I was blessed with a freaking bug.

So I suck at directions but have you seen the sell box? There's one area where you go down/south and then it seems like a dead end but off to the side you can see the sell box in like a little valley. You walk down there from where you are and the teleport alter is down in that area.

As TamanduaGirl explained, go south from the area with a pond where you fixed the first shrine, then right and follow the path! Continue exploring and you'll get to the second shrine, in Froglet Grove.

The screenshot also shows where Milas' Smithy is located. Similarly to Sariel's shop, once you have talked and helped him, and fixed enough shrines, you'll be able to rebuild his shop. You'll find him on your way to the second shrine, by the way!

Yeah... I'm going to need help. The bridges are all blocked either by a large tree trunk, or a bridge I cannot repair... So I'm not sure where to go.
