nobody knows ? or did u got a source ?
Glad to hear it. I am still seeing the issue, but what is odd, is that it only does it if I go crazy with the brown thunder mission. Lots of rockets in Los Santos seems to freak the game out, not sure why yet, still trying to dig.
Error doesn't occur in GTA 3 DE or SA DE.
Have you had a chance to look at the crash log? Should be within the rockstar games folder in your documents folder. Each game has its own subfolder, at which point as you dig, there should be a crash folder. Wondering if you are seeing something similar, despite not having issues with SA or III.
Mine:
<ErrorMessage>Unhandled Exception: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION reading address 0xffffffffffffffff</ErrorMessage>
<ErrorMessage>Unhandled Exception: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION writing address 0x0000000000000040</ErrorMessage>
When the game crashes, it does say FATAL ERROR. Interesting to see this now. More info the better. I've even tried reverting back to a previous NVIDIA driver but no help at all.
Okay, so far, are these the only games that you have issues with? Your address looks more normal, compared to mine. Might want to check another crash to see if the address is the same. In my case, it is the same for all crashes on both PC tested. If your address changes, might want to test your RAM, just to be sure. I am sure the games are just bugged though.
Just checked roughly 10 crash XML files, all the same addy listed. I am going to GOOGLE this error and see what else comes up. I'll mess with the RAM test as well.
A part of me wants to uninstall game on Steam and install via the RS launcher, see if there's any difference.
If you are able to download via RSG, it might be a good idea. Because it is the same address on each error, probably the game. Usually, when you have RAM issues, the addresses are all over the place. Also, more common are BSODs if the user actually has bad RAM.
On a side note, when I googled my error, not a whole lot came up, hope you are more lucky though.
