It's very playable. Not experienced any bugs or issues and it mostly seems the same as old San Andreas (although it's been 20 years since I last played, I'm not one of the people who have played the thing repeatedly over the years).
The only things I don't remember were the radio being so... Limited. The talk radio station has a loop that seems to last about 20 mins (which compared to Vice City is very limited) but that could be due to Definitive Addition being stripped down? Not sure.
That and it took me 2 goes for that bike/train mission with Smoke on Definitive. Very miffed because I one-shot this back in the day and then heard of all the complaints about it and thought 'ehhhh, it was easy lol!'. So is the game twice as hard, or have my reactions slowed in the last 20 years? Hmm!
Constructive!
How is it now?
Buddy read the 10 messages above you, yes it's good, it's in the best state it's ever been.
Fully playable and pretty stable. The only time I ever got fps drops were when I was using the camera.
The game does have some problems but only immersion breaking ones. Nothing game breaking. Some of the girlfriends faces still look weird. Car debris (tyres/bumpers) on the road when you drive out in the country, it's not a bug, but it just looks weird. AI driving on the highway speed like crazy and switch lanes almost instantly - probably a 60fps+ issue.
You have 192 hours on GTA V enhanced, which only came out 3 weeks ago. I think you have worse problems.
Skill issue.
Managed to do all the flying missions on my play through with only minimal fuss. One big lapse of concentration during the Toreno supply drop mission left me stuck in a checkpoint loop where I was basically on the ground/ exploding when loading the checkpoint. Had to get back in the air (not easy with all those trees/cars/etc but I did it) to continue. Outside of my own poor flying, it's fine tbh.
Edit - And it was probably a lot harder back in the day. I cannot recall exactly, as the flying missions from 20 years ago do not stick in my mind (maybe the RC one does, and I cant really compare as I just drove around on the ground in Definitive anyway because I remembered that being easier).
