Which Classic Version Should I Get?

I'm thinking of downloading the original versions of the three classic 3D GTA games on PC. GTA 3, Vice City, and San Andreas. I played them on PS2 many years ago, and enjoyed them. I'm not going with the definitive edition. Which game should I get? Or maybe I should go for Saints Row 2?

if you consider buying GTA:SA - check for the original PC version and not for some mobile/console port, since only the PC version contains blood, you can shoot of limbs and head, dealers on the streets drop money, Surely there are other features, but they are not as "fun breaking" as the mentioned ones.

Don't you mean modern console ports such as the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS4, and PS5 versions? The original PS2 and Xbox versions aren't based off the mobile port.

The MS store version + DE are both based off of the mobile port, so none of them are the original PC version. They delisted it from Steam but you can probably find a clean copy elsewhere easily, either on the internet or a used disc.

(Extra fun fact: The Steam 3.0 and NewSteam r1 and r2 versions are all redone Xbox ports from scratch, neither of them are the OG PC 1.0/2.0 versions which is incredibly weird)

There's a site that has it. Although it's version 1.01. Luckily you can downgrade that to 1.00.

You can buy the original trilogy from Rockstars website you just have to sieve through to find them. I'll drop a link below that should take you to the correct version. From there, there are a few websites you can download the 1.0/Hoodlum update to put it back to its original state, Very quick and easy. Even a noob like me was able to do it so you should be good. I'll leave a link below to the downgraded file which needs to be downloaded and added to the the newly downloaded GTA SA files. TJGM has a great series of videos with instructions how to do all of this on YouTube if you need help! :)
