Not really. All you need is silent patch, widescreen patch, ginput, (for controller support). Cleo for the gps mods... You don't need any graphics mods...

He's not talking about graphics mods

I remember installing a simple 60fps patch for VC
the game crashed 3 times in a row in a first toy helicopter mission


Imagine buying a steam version of the game that runs worse than a pirated version with the said patch injected by default. The funniest thing is - is that every guide out there pretty much tells you to delete steam version and download a Repack

SA ran fine but modding radio back is a pain in OG
In DefEd you just put a single file in a certain folder and forget about it completely
