It sucked then and it sucks now
Just like RC plane in Vice City - sh_t is unbearable
Sucked as 2004 PS2/2005 PC version or even worse (because of being mobile port)?
I'll be rude but A LOT of gta players have major skill issues with flying AND don't want to improve.
Mostly because its completely unneeded - I mean, we grand theft autoing not grand theft airing
Its been 20 years and I still have no idea how ai manages to speed up helicopter - this sh_t flies vertical
I mean CMON look at Prototype's or Breakpoint's Heli Controls
Heck, even BattleField 2 was easier to control a Jet Plane With Mouse Only
But yeah, answering your question
Moving controls to mouse in Def Ed made things A LOT easier
The problem is that the missions that involves them - are still in the game and completely stupid, not even needed for beating the story and also barely functional
Beating them is a breeze after a lot of practice, but imagine playing them for the first time and raging so bad you'd want to uninstall
Yeap - its still THAT bad
