Simple: you CAN'T
Actually you can, but there are not much mods for DE. And a lot of them are outdated.

This simply isn't true.

Nexus has a ton of mods, many of which have been updated and/or work fine.

I didn't say it's not possible, and by ton of mods, you mean whole 706 for all three de together. But doesn't matter, normal gta is way better for modding.

You can't mod the original either if you're going by the EULA.

Original isnt linked to R games launcher nor in sale anymore
+ original without mods is better than this garbage

Original without mods (on PC at least) is downright unplayable. I wholeheartedly agree with you that the original with just three or four mods is a better experience, but saying the EULA is the reason there aren't a ton of mods is just wrong.

to mod or not is up to you ... if you think this is better than Og you are just wrong.
im just mentioning EULA because game is linked to r games launcher which is linked to your online profile ... but to mod or not is still your choice

Playability wise, I'd rather play this over unmodded OG PC because that one barely functions without SilentPatch installed (mouse not working, 25 FPS, etc). PS2 out of the box is ofc better than DE, and modded PC is better than PS2, imo.

unmoded og works fine for me on pc ... and problems you mention doesnt appear at all.. there are some inversed controlls in minigames like dancing and lowrider battles thats it and sometimes game crashes if you go over 30 fps...

GTA SA is capped at 25 FPS without SilentPatch and on versions of Windows more modern than XP the mouse intermittently functions, along with all three games being quite a bit more buggy than their PS2 counterparts without SilentPatch.

Mods *exist* for DE but it's like ordering from Wish compared to OG.

you can just run game in properties / compatibility / Windows Xp and problems solved

And then still endure all the bugs and regressions from PS2 that silent patch fixes. It's not really optional these days.

I haven't checked if that fixes the mouse, but the FPS cap is 100% 25 FPS unless you use SilentPatch, plus TONS of other bugs & regressions from the PS2 version exist. There is no reason to play the stock game vanilla.
