And people actually think GTA6 will be good lol
In steam - Launch Options field under Settings (Gear Icon on the game page) >> Properties >> General
What system are you playing the game on? Steamdeck or PC?
I uninstalled both the game and rockstar launcher. Went into my computer and found any folder where the rockstar launcher was and deleted it.
I reinstalled the game and and did the following steps before trying to launch.
Before opening I went to my computer -> program files (x86) -> steam -> steamapps -> common -> GTA san andres -> PlayGTASanAndreas (application file)
Here I right clicked the aplication and on compatability. Made sure full screen optimization was unchecked. then checked run as admin. closed.
launched game and re-downloaded the launcher after launching the game from steam, disabled cloud saving when it pops up in the launcher (Thats been a known error).
The game doesnt load.
So go back in to the file and uncheck run as admin and apply this time. leaving full screen optimization still unchecked.
Then I launched it and it got passed the loading screen! and I was able to start a game.
I havent had the time to play it yet and see if it crashed WHILE playing the game BUT it fixed the loading screen crash!
I hope this works for you all too!
P.S. - I also made sure my drivers were up to date prior to doing any of those steps after uninstalling the game and deleting anything related to rockstar and GTA SA. Which they already were, but I did do that first
