I can’t get achievements because of a cheat I activated
I entered a cheat to see if it would work and it did. Now I can’t get any. Do I need to load a new save file/new game?

You should not saved after activating cheats. If you have a manual save made before that then load it. Otherwise you'd have to start a new game I suppose.

Or use a save editor and clear off the "has cheated" flag.

Again. Start a new game or use a save editor.

When you use a cheat the game tells you, "You won't get achievements"

A trainer isn't a save editor. Try using Google.
