It's not comparable. The DE is real GTA VC, NextGen is a totally different take and gameplay. It's based on GTA IV, so it's an alternative experience. There is a number of differences. It's interesting and worth to take a look at.. but not a definitive way to play GTA VC.

You are calling DE a better Vice City version? Only OG Vice City and Nextgen's are better. You don't have the right to argue over DE and calling it better since it's just a cheap mobile copy.

After the latest patch that dropped a couple of months ago, this became the best version easily. More accessible, better gameplay and better visuals. Still looks better than the Next Gen mod even.

Why should I own defective edition and only graphics doesn't make the game better. There are artstyles too, the character models are too worse and doesn't resemble to OG games at all sure there are better graphics and better visuals you call it best. You people are the only reason we get plasticized games. Period.

I think at the end of the day the best way to play gta games is to play the version you like personally without crusading on each other the version you prefer

That's a non issue on PC, mate. It's just a file you can drag and drop in a folder.

You get this mod, then Billie Jean is back on that scooter at the start of the game.

Edit: Also, just a reminder that songs, specially the MJ songs, were removed from the game as far as the PS2 version a couple of years after the game release. Even back then if you had a PS2 and bought the game later, you would have gotten a copy of the game without Billie Jean and Starting Something, as well as some other songs.
