GTA DE still a better Vice City version of the game.
You are calling DE a better Vice City version? Only OG Vice City and Nextgen's are better. You don't have the right to argue over DE and calling it better since it's just a cheap mobile copy.
Ohh, you are not great at arguing either.
The DE Trilogy is great and beautiful now after the latest patch. Whoever still complaining about the DE Trilogy and calling it garbage is just exaggerating things or hasn't play the game after the update. I'm not defending the DE Trilogy; it needs at least 1 or 2 more patches and the price tag is not fair ($30 is a fair price tag), but the NEXTGEN EDITION is not GTA VC either. It's more like GTA IV in GTA VC. If you want the classic atmosphere, controls, physics and graphics, then stick to the DE Trilogy. If there are things that bother you regarding the DE Trilogy like missing features and problems, you can simply find and install mods on it. There are thousands of mods out there.
But the main purpose of definitive edition was to make the gameplay seamless and without the need of adding mods and yet there's need of mods for the missing features and problem. I know OG Version's were broken but we learnt something new by it and that's called "Modding". The character models in DE still looks bad though and rockstar's patches were always late and the nextgen's not VC, I know it's gta 4 but it still gives vice city vibes while keeping the gta 4's rage engine stuff. So the people who want to play og gta vice city then they can either play gta vc nextgen or can get ps2 rom from the gray area.
You can Literally Play For Free Every Version Out There Including Original GTA4 (there, I said it)
And pay money only if you want to for specific reasons
Also, Rockstar reached out to Telegram (and I think with the right strings they can also close VK Group) so they're not completely out of reach. Heck, they even hid their admin roles on VK page just to avoid random calls from the police in case ♥♥♥♥ went south (Russia is not THAT barbaric mind you but then again, praise be the actual war so we could not care less about what is happening in legal terms)
But yeah, I totally agree with Rockar/TakeTwo being total douches on their part. Its their product that they do nothing with. Why would they care - no one knows.
Nobody cared when Capcom closed dozens of fan remakes for Resident Evil 2 (and then they butchered the game anyway)
If you like vanilla - go play PS2 version
If you like PC - play at is it/pirate it/mod it
If you hate modding - play DE
If you want something cooler but Not Exactly The Same Game - Play Next Gen
Why starting harassing each other is beyond me

GTA : Next Gen is a RAGE mod port of Vice City (GTA IV Mod)
The fact that Take-Two and R* used UE4 to basically steal money is beyond me because they had not used RAGE; therefore, they are being very shady by using AI whereas the Next Gen is a manually created mod that uses RAGE.
Take-Two needs regulation, same with the Gaming Industry because Definitive is, indeed, a cash grab release.
wrong, modpacks like reviced is the best, carefully balanced and tuned experience.
and no crappy game engines like the cancer that is IV or UE4
all you drools fight over crap vs crap, as per usual, bots gonna bot
ps
reVC is also better than both, i still prefer reviced.
who knew some crappy mod would be worse than an official remaster
