Difficulty is garbage !

How is this never talked about those games ? People praised them like they are totally enjoyable...

I try those PS2 GTA games every now and then and I always give up after 5 hours or so. Difficulty become insane and the shooting is luck based, sometimes enemy hits very hard sometimes you're lucky and they just hit hard.
Gameplay of the shooting is garbage, you can eventually play cheap and that's it.

Those games are so praised but I don't believe that so many people do better than me with the progression seriously. The GTA of the PS2 era are maybe the only games I just can't finish and I can't even reach the middle of the game, I have to give up before that.

I gave up 3 after 5 hours, Vice City the same, the second Island only has crazy hard missions.
♥♥♥♥ those games, overated as ♥♥♥♥, only the universe is good, game suck. I have to try San Andreas stil.

I dont think they are that difficult, every gta game definitely has THAT mission that totally kicks your ass, but i would not say its TOO HARD. Just do the activities to upgrade your armor/health and can become fireproof

I just checked since the game doesn't tell you about upgrading health, and those activities are boring to me. I pass. ♥♥♥♥ game, good universe, I'd rather watch it on youtube to see the story.

You don't even have to do that. I beat the classic versions without ever doing the side missions. It's definitely a skill issue. These games were then and are now, ultimately pretty easy with only a mission or two that can give you a hard time.

It's too much luck based and there's no checkpoint, you not only have to try the mission from start but also moving to the mission everytime. It's awful.
I do well on other games but those PS2 GTA are too much frustration, they really pushed things forward with GTA 4, it's hard too come back to that.
Even back then I bought the xbox versions and didn't went far.
I dunno, other games I do well.

Dunno if this is rage bait or anything but I'd say the PS2 versions were much worse, if you just care about story etc, watch a YT video.

Games back then were harder i agree but it's not unplayable or anything.

I'm playing the games for the first time in 10-15 years. I think they are much easier than I remember. I kind of rushed through GTA 3, never felt so easy. Vice City, too.

Modern games spoiled you, I've done this thing when I was 12, just aim and shoot.

They programmed it as a functionality and as soon as it worked they called it a day.

Only the universe save those games, gameplay is awful. I am trying San Andreas now.

GTA 3 is over 20 years old, as is Vice city. Not sure what you expected from games this old?

im almost done witth the game.
i dont know what difficulty you mean.

its even easier than the OG VC.


but i uninstalled GTA3 too.. its thrash.

All these games are easy except maybe GTA3. Vice City shooting is not a problem, in fact the only missions I had problems are the non-shooting ones (demolition man, dildo dodo, bombs away and they became much easier once you learned how to fly).

Also, the DE kinda made these easier as well.
