I really think the people complaining are overreacting. I'm having a lot of fun and I haven't seen a single issue or glitch yet. I've played half the missions so far in GTA III and just now starting Vice City's second island missions. No issues besides some songs being cut. It's mostly just the internet overreacting in my humble opinion.
- When playing at high framerate(120+ fps) and doing unique jumps camera often doesn't return to the third person view after jump completed. Forcing frame limit to 60 fps temporarily fixes that. But I hated to switch to and fro after almost every jump.
- Forcing DX12 notably improves game responsiveness but multiple textures starts to flicker blue sometimes(during certain time of night I think).
- They should've made a better rain. There's a mod to improve it but still.
- I've seen cars floating or stuck in the ground. Such things happened in the original games too IIRC.

- Cars and pedestrians appearing at middle distance in front of you and appearing/disappearing behind your back. The legacy from old games that didn't have much memory but it could've been improved with modern engine and hardware.
All this doesn't ruin games per se and as for the price it's up to you.
P.S. Keyboard/mouse controls for helicopters don't allow to directly turn them left and right. I switched to xbox one controller for flights where it can be done(LB/RB).
My negative rating is mainly for the lack of PATCHES. Are you still working on them? We don't care about some mini patches. Cult series is DESTROYED by ignoring suggestions from FANS LOVING THE OLD TRILOGY! Especially since you couldn't renew licenses for many songs, don't be lazy...
Problems:
- The end of the sea is visible in the distance - it's too rectangular / flat. You could give here some fog.
- I like the graphics, apart from the clouds (they don't match the sky and cardboard graphic cities). Clouds don't suit these games at all (mainly in GTA3).
- All of the cites don't have it's own atmosphere and weather (GTA3 was more like foggy, greyed). They lack details.
- You didn't even add drivers to cars in the intro of GTA3 ...
- Cities are empty. They're too quiet. I don't hear many noises which i heard in earlier versions of game (ambient?). Definitly many in game sounds were deleted or not properly implemented. I don't hear many cars, i don't hear people voices as often. I don't hear background. These games are DEAD SILENT!
- bugs in animations (running too fast, cars turning too fast - they're overactive like they have been created in 500 fps)
- Something is really wrong with the character's controls, it's too light, unresponsive, delayed when pressing e.g. jump, or too fast when running. Same with driving a car. The feeling of control is really tragic.
- holes in the streets, invisible objects on maps
- poor optimization. with such graphics it should run smoothly at 60 fps, and even more on 1660 super, and the drops are down to 45 fps on these max settings
- Unfortunately, many things have been cut from the games, such as leaves and dirt on the street in GTA3, a lot of textures are also of embarrassing quality, which looks strange when the texture is sharp next to it.
- San andreas, where's the music on the menu?
- The behavior of peds or the number of cars is too low now.
- Physics are ruined. You can't properly smash car parts, or bottles. Many animations were deleted like many other things which were building game atmosphere.
New trilogy have many broken animations like drinking soda, gym bags. Missing textures, missing sounds (like on the beach). SHAME.

You could UPGRADE this remasters with mechanics from GTA V.
I thought that we will get physics from GTA V, new animations, that Claude will be able to fly the Dodo normally, that he will be able to swim, crouch, hide behind the walls.
You guys really did a little work on it, because adding effects is a matter of the engine. Changing textures is a matter of upscaling and artificial intelligence. Sounds are too compressed and quality lacking.
You have condemned the players to suffering. Either you fix it, or the shame will linger behind you. Or take another 2 years to fix it and get it right. Or remake it properly on new engine. But hive us a HOPE!
And read player reviews, listen to them, don't make it your own way!
You'd better remaster City Stories (LC and VC) is a work on PC. This is what we can appreciate even with no changing in phycics and other important things.
All in all, the games look nice from the OUTSIDE, but the animations, some characters faces, and mechanics sometimes look like they've been regressed, not remastered. Really the games got few upgrades and many downgrades.
Great criticism also for prosecuting modders. You could share tools to mod games by ourselves. Players would do what you don't want to do!
At least the current price ($30) is quite reasonable, but it's only a promotion, not a fixed price. In the promotion, I would buy it for ma $ 15, although I still prefer the old versions. Definitely there our character runs better, drives cars better, there is music...
In general, the list of errors does not exhaust what I wrote, I just don't have the strength for it, and you disregarded us.
