help getting past rocky road and intermediate classes
so i started this game on crazy games and didnt know there were guides. after finding out it was on steam i got it and found guides but as the only guide for first time players on the first run is for warriors and i had already chosen tamer i am now stuck. i have about 150% in both atk and health for glutony and have everything in the first 2 areas maxed out research wise except rare monsters (im almost maxed on them too). without a guide to find more ways of progressing i cant really beat anything unless i start spending and i have very little to spend. if anyone has a way to progress or can make a guide for the other 2 choices to help those who dont choose warrior first i wouold appreciate it.

The main benefits of going with the Warrior Class are more Stamina and Stamina Regen, a slight increase in Weapon Character Attack Speed, a slight increase in all Combat Stats, and a fairly significant boost to Sacred Ritual Bonus. It certainly makes a first run easier but its not the end of the world to miss out on it.

First of all, lets take into account what the Tamer Class does for you. Your class Routines give you more Research Drop Amount (which makes it easier to level up your Party Members), more Seed Drop Amount (which makes it easier to upgrade the stats on your Party Members), and one of the only sources of Rare Monster Encounter Chance. Furthermore, your Academy School Bonuses gives you even more Research Drop Amount and a fair amount of Stamina and Magic Regen.

Ultimately, you should focus on gathering all of the Standard and Boss monsters from each Zone and use your large Research Drop Amount bonus to max out their Levels (if you have access to the Arrogant Fairy found in the Familiar Routines you can use it to increase your Research Drop Chance to speed things up). Once you have maxed out your Party's Levels its time to invest as many Seeds as you can into them as this will significantly boost their stats to the point where they can often compete with early enemies from the next Zone.

For example, you are trying to make progress in the Rocky Road found in Zone 4 so you will need a Party made up of monsters from Zone 3 (Academy City). The Zone 3 monsters might not be able to clear the first Dungeon of Zone 4 but they should be able to score a few kills and that gives you a chance to snag Zone 4 Party Members. You then add the stronger Zone 4 monsters to your Party to consistently clear Zone 4 Dungeons and eventually the Boss.

If all else fails, remember to use the Dark Ritual as often as possible so you can generate more Inspiration to buy more Permanent Upgrades.
thx have zone one and zone 2 stadard monsters and bosses maxed out both on lvl and luck. i have all of zone 3 standard monsters maxed out on both lvl and luck but not the boss yet. i almost have zone 1 rare enemy flower fairy maxed only missing a bit of luck and forest fairy is needed to max out. i have done the entire available progress to get stronger with some stuff blocking progress, mostly research on treant and purification slime.
i have just gotten the auto eat on gluttony and am working on getting apples and pork. im not sure if the slime and bread is worth it nor the mushrooms. i have almost everything maxed and have almost 1000 lvls in the blazing aura. all summons r maxed out and all beginning classes done. tourniment 1 is also done.
i dont know if im missing something but i always get stone crab and nothing else as i afk alot. if u have any tamer load outs for partys that may help. also one major thing is im still extremely new to the game and am still hard at figuring out the game.
As long as you aren't using your Loop Action for anything else, Harvesting Wheat to turn into Bread will at least give you some extra Physical Defense. In combination with the Hp bonus from the Apples it might let you survive an extra hit. Bread and Mushrooms will become much more useful once you clear Tournament 2 and open up some real Cuisine options. As for Slime Jelly, it gives you Sacred Ritual Bonus which means more Habit and more Inspiration. Getting a few after every Dark Ritual will help in the long run.

As for Party building tips, you already know that monsters from later Zones are stronger than ones from previous Zones and you might already know that the more total Luck your Party has the more Research you will obtain Per Drop. So how about some Type advantage knowledge. All Party Members, Monsters, and Attacks have a Type. Much like in Pokemon, you can utilize specific attacks to do extra damage. For example, all of the monsters in Rocky Road are Earth Type so they take extra damage from Wind attacks (except the Hound Dog which is both Earth and Fire Type and thus it has no weakness that you can currently exploit). If you have any Wind Spells or natural Wind Attacks such as the Bat's Countless Fangs using them might help out a bit.

The tip near the end that Kite gave you about elements is very important so you dont beat you head on the wall.
To see the complete listing - upper left look for the black box with a question mark in it.
Party -> Skill -> Elemental Attributes

EDIT - Sure you can eventually power thru the regions, but that can be longer run times. Sometimes the strongest creatures may not be the best.
