is the new area elready accsesable?

I am still stuck in Magic city and didnt have the new area yet, academic city guild mission isnt also there yet for me so i was wondering, if i possibly miss something or if its just not online yet.

Already finished my first run of Zone 13 (Gourmet City) yesterday. Have you finished your fourth run of Magic City and unlocked Alchemy? I don't know what else could be holding you back.

I've beaten the first three schools, but not the fourth, and I still got to Gourmet City, so that can't be it.

I'm trying to figure out why I can't progress through Magic City again... it's not letting me go through the school for some reason and I'm just running everything since I can't progress until I can start working through the school again... what are the stats of the enemies like in the new area? What power of e are they?

Did you re-beat the Golem? I thought I was stuck until I realized I hadn't actually bothered to fight him yet.

I can't fight the Golem in this current run, because I have to go down the path of the school that didn't unlock when I finished talking to the teacher

Restart the game and make sure it says ver2.4.1 on the title screen in the lower left corner. Mine was stuck on 2.3.7 for a while -- i guess Steam was not updating the game for some reason. Restarting my computer a couple of times seemed to fix it.

The problem was, even though it said I had unlocked the school, I hadn't... had to talk to someone else in the plaza and give him ice cream... granted, if you don't unlock it until after that... maybe don't say that you unlocked the school?
