how do you increase magic cap/regen?

ive been trying to level them up but for some reason they just refuse to level up sometimes and yet at other times they do level and quite quickly they dont seem to have a rank requirement so i was just wondering why

Maybe you need more of that mana? Especially if you use it in attacks, its pretty easy tonever get enough to level it up.

but the issue is no matter how much habit i put into it straight up doesnt seem to tick upwards as in the timer is frozen at whatever the start is

That sounds like you don't have the mana resource to buy it. You need MP to increase the MP cap/regen, fire for the fire cap/regen etc. Especially early on that can be a real bottleneck.

All Energy Routines have an Energy Cost. If you want more Stamina, it costs a certain amount of Stamina to start the next level of the Routine. An example would be if you tried to go from Fire Regeneration 10 to Fire Regeneration 11 you would need to spend 1.1 Fire Magic to begin getting progress from your Habit.
