How much habit is enough ?
How much habit is enough for comfortable runs ?
I am at 2600 now should I keep adding up or should I start to work on status up ? (I have rest of Astral cleared up to Destroyer atm)

The more base stats you have, the more inspiration you can get too. going 1-2 rank higher isn't actualy that important. The important is to get back to roughly the same with 0 talent. If you can get to 20 rank by reviving every hour, but if you do it every 2 hours and reach 30, it's still better to just get 20. After a few days of that,y ou'll naturaly reach higher, soon.

The only time i'd delay a bit, is if you reach close to 28 in an hour, making sure you do reach 28 for a few minutes does make a large jump(using will) for a few quick ranks.

Otherwise, just get stats, and focus on killing things quickly. Human party member increase XP, and XP means more ranks too.

Farming XP is the second best way to progress, as it not only increases your inspiration almost directly, it also increases your total EXP earned, which boosts reincarnation as well. Total exp earned is also not removed after reicarnation, so farming a ton helps there too.

Another tip, i'd recommend clearing ending each ending 5 times before moving to a higher ending.

Yeah thats what I am doing atm only was side tracked by geting ending 3 now before finishing all 5 runs of ending 2 to get some extra boons to speed up remaining tier 2 runs (namely I really wanted to get rat and golem for pasive resources generation to make story progress less snail pace :))

I guess when I am at almost end of this run I should just keep my high rank to get as much SIN as possible and than start pumping dark rituals in new run from start ?

yeah, at the end of a run bumping up sins multiplier is worth it. But remember that everything just is a % increase, while EXP is base. Base going up affects all multipliers.

More habit is always better. With a bit over 1 million I still want more, but I generally don't use inspiration on it. Inspiration is for the stuff under Upgrade Actions, Status Up and Expand Cap and a few oddities you will get to at later stages

You can always put some inspiration in habit, it is fairly cheap, and if you DR as often as you can, it won't matter much. I have around 100x more in status up than habit.

Yeah I play game wrong way apparently

I do only complete runs and with like minimum of Dark Rituals (I am sub 100 rituals 8 reincarnations in)
I guess after I end this run (I am trying to farm some new summons from Valley) I should try to find some up to date guide how to pump up my stats :)

it's not complicated.

The only REAL metric of progression in this game, is status up from inspiration. every other bonus is limited and temporary. It doesn't take a long time to get to the point where the status up are enough to make other mechanic irrelevant.
Exemple : After about a year on the game, WITHOUT using summons(other than for story/upgrade actions), i can beat ending 6.
oh, and that's also without using gluttony.

status up from dark ritual is the real progress.
