ed5 glitch?

i started my first run for ed5 (i did select the route option) and goten to the bit with the frozen lake it allowed me to see the frozen lake before talking to the mayor does this soft lock the route as the frozen lake has not reappered or do i need to progress through the quests abit before it apears again (im about to enter holy city)

note iv read the wiki and iv come to the solution that the route is soft locked. To anyone that has not done ed5 yet once you unlocked the smith vilige make sure you get the artificile arm and talk to the mayor before clicking "fly through the sky 2" if the frozen lake goes away i think thats a sign that you are locked out of the path (even if the select that path at reincarnation)

I believe the frozen lake appearing is proof that you botched the sequence of events as it would imply Fenia is dead and you cannot get the ending without her.

i had the route selected it should be impossable to select paths that allow me to make that happen i think what happened is i selected fly on and looking at frozen lake before talking to the mayor (this should be locked so this didnt happen when the route is selected)

Since I was doing my 5th ed5 run, I did a coupe of tests.

Indeed, one can choose 'Fly away' before talking to the Mayor, unlocking the Lakeside ruins and following Fenia. This choice leads to the frozen lake, and it then seems impossible to complete ed5 (the part with Fenia at the lake being no more accessible).
