How much scrap metal do I need to be carrying to be able to make rare metal?

afaik it depends on loop action speed, i think base was 80 or 100 scrap metal

the faster way is getting the demon king 1 to summon with golden slime in the party, then you can get the drop from it, with a drop chance party you can even get it to 100%

i normally do it while farming runes from silver scale dragon and memory eater, they drop 5 and 10 runes each kill


just remember, boss monsters dont drop while summoned by the demon king iirc
