then you need to select the correct titel, greater demon familiar, and use the will routine transform to power
if you have magic wand +5 equip it on mc
when the fight starts use magic formation, to activate aoe (or physical if the ultimate magic is to slow)
if that dosent work you need more gluttony, if you are quite near the needed damage but iirc it was quite possible to kill her at that point
you can eat anchiovy sandwiches in the village before you leave for a day or so, that can provide a nice boost at the beginning
if you are still nowhere near the point where you can see yourself getting through to her, got to the next area (unlock the next guardian), see if you can get some summons from there and come back to t6 in another reincarnation
on a side note: you are keeping your sins full right? only spend them when you are going to reincarnate since the boost they provide to inspiration gain and DR are quite usefull
together with 1h dark rituals you can gain a lot of inpiration quite fast, so that even grinding he and su is possible
From what you wrote, it sounds like the rest of your party still counts, so I would have to try with all of the "+X% to all stats" in the team.
I had assumed that only your own stats, skill and equipment would count.
If that's the case then it's probably a decent part of what I am missing.
After posting this thread, I tried several setups (without changing the rest of the team) and the best I got was with the wizard title and magic formation, when I was doing 1/6th of its health with my best water spell before getting one-shot (but with a smaller gap between the damage and my health, just 3-5 times instead of 10).
There is sadly no area I can get to as far as I know after the desert, the zones beyond seem to be linked to the remaining endings (or rather to whatever is required to get to those endings).
I have been keeping sins to full ever since I started farming them (after the first 2 clears of ending 2) and it really helps (both inspiration gains and sacred rituals), including for progressing faster.
I might have to try in a new reincarnation and pick the warrior this time.
I was picking the tamer since I unlocked the ability to have all 3 routines because it gives you regen to both stamina and mana but the warrior gets access to the knights (that otherwise require round 6 or more for the other 2 classes) which means extra stats.
I'll try to dig the wiki to see if I can get another zone unlocked and/or a spell, perhaps by skipping ending 3 and going for ending 4 first (maybe not clearing it but at least going towards it).
If it fails, I'll grind ending 1 a bit more to unlock the guardian and clear out a few other entries, they can be done in 3-4 hours each if I don't try to get more than 3 or 4 sins per run (plus it makes dark ritual grinding a bit less dull).
Thanks for the answer, it opened a few things so I'll keep at it.
Thankfully the answer is not "grind 1h dark rituals for a week or two for extra stat points" because it can get boring relatively fast.
like no more options left to take?
there is one where you need to give runes and then rare metal
if you do that, you get a few very powerfull spells unlocked for purchasing in astral world
they reset when you reincarnate, but they are very worth it since they have a high base damage and 2 AOE, meaning 2*1,5 damage while magic formation is up, with the magic wand +5 you have 3 AOE, for 3*1,5 damage
yes the whole party counts even if only you is in the fight, the stats are still given
use warlock titel if you have it, more damage (only damage counts, everything else is kinda unimportant)
the zones after desert are unlocked by beating guardians in astral world (unlocking in akashic record) - no zone is locked behind an ending
after you beat the 2. guardian (hermit) you unlock a new quest after you beat desert and reported back to the guild, if you follow that quest you unlock the next area (warning - a lot of destiny farming ahead)
warrior isnt nessecary, if you think you need the stats dont enter the slums and do the bishop questline, that gives you higher statue max, but that is really annoying without the summons form the next area, so try to push on to hermit
going towards ending 4 for the titel is a good idea, you will need rank 50 for the title and 30 of each energy ressources
the ressources get a nice boost during the ending, so thats not that difficult
but you have no hope of beating ending 4 if you cant beat t6, the boss of ed4 is several times harder than the boss of ed3, which is harder then t6
so my reccomendation would be to unlock the next guardian asap, check out the next zone and then come back to t6
if you already have enough stats to do some damage in t6 you will manage to clear it easily after you make some progress in the next zone
each guradian also gives the option to increase the sin max after you beat it so you can hold more sins in the future
prior to ed3 you'll want to aim for 20k +habit to cap worship without miracle stone, hermit defeated, valley village unlocked, 5/5 ed2, and 21/21 sin. all of your +stats for ed3 can be earned during the run, while working on gluttony. after ed3, your next habit break-point is when will is capped without 'will speed+', which is about 200k +habit. this is when you can ease up on habit and start pushing stats. while pushing stats and new endings is more fun early on, grinding habits first makes grinding stats easier later on.
once you get class inheritance and all class titles, you can pretty much go tamer from then on out. knights training area gives +stats rather than %stats, so it's not very helpful for very long. while going tamer gives a %research bonus that is helpful indefinitely for greed. sorc is only useful for your first ed4, and war is only useful again once you're deep into prides (post ed6 5/5)
warlock/mercenary titles are better for damage. ed4 title is just for elemental regen, which becomes less necessary as your +habit from sin gets better. you only really use ed4 title for ed4 runs
my first ed3 was on run #17 as tamer with steer clear of the slums. i had 1.75k +stats and 16k +habit from sin, 1.75k% atk and ~3k% matk from gluttony. (took about 2-3 days). as with any long run, 8 hours of sammiches while you sleep is always a good place to start.
to kill lari, you'll want to grab aqua blast from the desert(in a previous run), and eat some wine/egg/olives for a bit. i'd recommended picking up advanced spells on your first ed2 (or asap), even if it takes an extra day to unlock golden slime, or worse, you have to farm scrap metal. they are pretty OP for pushing bosses until ed5, where you will need holy spells.
once you kill dk3, i'd recommend max seeding MC while you have the gluttony bonuses. while it may be boring to just kill bosses for a day or two, you will also get a decent amount of research (hence tamer) and total xp that will help with sin gain later.
iirc, if you brought 21 sin, you can unlock the next guardian and zone afterwards. while you will likely not be able to clear the first dungeon in the next zone, you should be able to snipe a summon or two.
also, aoe additional affect is 1.5x multiplicative, not additive.
so for 3 aoe: it's 1.5^3 = 3.375x.
if it were +50% additive, it would be 1+(.5*3) = 2.5x not 1.5*3
I didn't really farm the sandwich that much (level 9 in the first DR and 15 now) but I did farm boss dungeons and abused apple/honey regen.
I really thought I would need to continue hourly DR for at least half a day so it's clear that the pets from the valley and the status% from sin played a bigger role than I thought they would.
Thank you all for giving me clear directions on where to go and for taking time to explain it.
