You use Set button on the first Tab in Party screen. Next run it will join you in a dungeon.

Next question - can someone help with more information on Routines? For example, if I put points in summon familiar or lesser devil, how do I summon them and use them in my party? I leveled summon familiar for awhile but couldnt figure out how to use it and didnt see it in my party options.

It's a boost. You level up Summon familiar to earn points and then check one or more option under it. Points that you earned are evenly divided between all those checked options. Those options give you different boosts. Lesser Devil is a boost to base stats of all characters in your party.

Thanks Archmag! You are going to need to keep holding me hand :) Back with more questions after I get stuck again....

Why is there even an option to do a Dark Ritual for lower than your current level? I accidentally clicked Dark Ritual instead of Sacred and my Talent went all the way to next to nothing and I lost all my progress. Totally deflating to have that happen. It should be additive, not overwrite your progress. There is no reason to have that.

The reason is to have faster Dark Rituals to collect Inspirations. You have a choice - fast resets to gain a lot of inspirations or slow resets to progress.

I'd suggest to ignore talent for now and just DR every hour. The inspiration is way way way more valuable for you right now. Only collect talent if you need to reach a high rank for a quest thats a barrier to progress for you (e.g. unlocking new titles later on)

I dont have anything to spend my inspiration on so I needed talent to progress. But my accidental DR put me back to basically zero progress because I did it right after I had done one. Not I gotta get my talent way back up to be able to beat Dim Cave. I nearly had enough to get enough Routine boost to beat it.... Just frustrating. Its looking like i may need 20 or 30 in lesser devil to beat Dim Cave - my party, including Flower Fairy, is maxxed out, but i have no way to progress until I beat the cave.

that is the way, dont get hung up on the "wasted" stuff, just do it consistently and you will progress faster

yes i am speaking from experience

That's not true. rank gives you nothing in terms of combat power. Only familar with lesser demon does and if everything is maxed like you said, rank ~7 or so in familar is way more than enough. You either must be missing something else or maybe have over seen some feature. Do you use physical formation vs the orc (can be activated at the top right during battle).

Bacause you are at the beginning of the game, you will unlock stuff for inspiration every few new dungeons and quests. Even unlimited stuff. So keeping hold on them is key unless you are maxed out. If so, buying a inspiration max upgrade would be the way to go. I also can not really belive you already have bought all the spell books and still in town.

If you use discord, feel free to come over there and we together can check out directly what you are missing in terms of content and why you cant beat the orc.

Okay I have beat the Dim Cave - thanks for all the help. Now I am stuck with my options to progress it seems. I think I need wood now, but dont see how to get it. Get a Job is locked and it seems to be what I need to unlock next, but I need 5 stamina. I put all my routine points into stamina max but it went to level 1 and stopped so that only gave me 1 stamina. I dont see where else to get more stamina?

You need Stamina resource to be able to upgrade Stamina Max and Stamina Regeneration. To get Stamina resource initially you need to use Energy Recover routine (4th one at that list).

Wow that is not easy to understand. Having to cap stamina with the energy recover before you can raise the stamina cap. Glad you guys are helpful. This game is like a puzzle quest. Progressing now.... I am sure I will get stuck again soon. :)

a lot of the good idles require you to figure things out on your own imo.

The addition of the newbie guide was a good choice. Hopefully more guides are released like that for further progress. When people can progress better, they play your game longer... Challenge is great, but you dont want people feeling like they have no shot. I like taking my time in this game and maxxing each new party member out, so I am slowly progressing but enjoying the game now.
