Griffon strategy
Anyone have a strategy for beating the griffon boss besides grinding for food?

I was wondering about that fight myself too. I`ve found some sort of gimmick or special mechanic for every single boss before except the Orc (unless his attack pattern itself is the gimmick), I've tried messing around with elements but to no avail.

What i noteced so far was that he is covered in wind from casting some shield and think this could be leading to something else with the right trigger.

I assume you know about the other ways to push stats yourself so i won''t be a smartass. Well then let's see if someone found a gimmick and is willing to share his findings.

Eat a lot, have a good damaging team with a good passive bonus, make sure you have all inspiration stat bonus and use your best skill to kill him before he kill you, it's sadly the only way (if you are lucky AND patient, you should get the rare monster from the valley, he have a nice quick physical attack. Don't bother about hp and defense, you can kill him even if he one shot your stronger character. Since some of his attack are random, it's not a 100% garanty win but with two powerful character and 3 sacrifice with stats bonus and quick attack to not waste time, you can eventually get him. If it's close, use a formation. If my memory is correct, he is protected against magical attack so go full physical (commander assault and maximum tackle for your damaging unit)

No little gimmick for this one, eh? Then it's good old brute force stuff again.

After pushing stats a bit i tried again. Well seems i overdid it again as he is a total cakewalk for me now. 3 attacks and he usually is gone. Can't really give you any advice regarding minimum stats but this is way more than you need so maybe start at half of that attack and push further if needed.

Was a fun fight. Similar build in the end, didn't three hit by any means but had it set so that as long as the random death was one of two that had not taken their turn I'll win.

The Immortal Rat comes from Valley inside Valley Village.

In the end it was kinda anti-climatic. A day or two on dried fruit completed Valley - Deep and then magma bomb twice and that is it...
