Or don't try to make spirit orb until you have a way to automate it.

You can increase the cap by spending sins.

You can automate it by spending 1000 inspirations or 50 inspirations+buying almost all recipes.

so thats what it was for, I thought the automation check mark was for giving experience to items equipped to guys in your party but not in combat...either I missread it or something

yeah I did get that check mark and now this is defintally going to help

my other solution was to keep it on all night with an auto clicker on the button LOL

According to its description (I don't own one myself) it can be used to dump resources in equipment before your forge it or dump crystals to increase its bonus level after you forge it (so make sure to uncheck the checkbox if you don't want to level it up after the forge).

you need to spend sins to open up the inventory

but if you NEED to make an elixir, you should be far enough along to know how to do that
elixir is only ever needed for the 5th ending and in the evil city for some actions
if you arent there yet, you dont NEED an elixir

Its primary function is to dump your resources into equipment you haven't unlocked. Once you buy it in the ruby shop, it has a secondary function: giving x many experience every 10 seconds, where x is how many times you've bought the upgrade up to 10 times.
