Bandit Note 2 (Smith Village)

After getting treasures from bandit hideout I didn't get the Bandit Note 2 option to choose, Is it a bug or was there something done wrong? Wanted to go for ED2, but it's impossible without Smith village.

You have to search the bandit for 5500 destiny before you search for treasure. If you search for treasure before you search the bandit, you lose the option to search the bandit and won't be able to get Bandit Note 2.

You also can just activate the guide for ED2 when reincarnating to ensure that you won't accidentally pick an option that makes the ending impossible, like when getting the treasure before searching the bandits.
