On top of that: the more sins the better but to be honest, only 1 is really mandatory.
First of all you just can buy 2 things: Greed and Sloth. Greed is very important, Sloth only if you want to automate stuff. Keeping sins in inventory is strong: 10% Inspiration and 10% Dark Ritual bonus PER sin. You can get up to 21 later on (28 in upcomming version) which gives a hefty boost by just having them.
My suggestion is: get at least 2, buy greed instantly once possible. Keep 1 in inventory until you feel the need for Sloth ( you need shortcut slots, too).
Edit: Only saw the first answer. Will check how far demon king will bring me but is full satiety enough to affect the multiplier or does it depend on the the level of the different food?
