Ending 5, possible?

Is ending 5 actually achievable at this moment? Apparently ~1% have done it, and I cannot see any way of even winning the semi final. I got 50 levels in envy magic attack thing and I barely make a dent (without a sliver of a chance of surviving a single blow).

Either those 1% are all cheating, or I'm missing something rather fundamental.
- I have almost all monsters maxed (Fallen Angel and Ceasefire Saint missing, can't see how they could help much)
- Beat all of holy city
- 20k levels into "Status up"

Any thoughts? is it really just extreme farming for inspiration an complaints to level envy into the thousands and status up into the hundreds of thousands?

only one person on the discord has beaten ed5 in a semi official way
hes using scripting and has more then 2 or 20 million statup, i dont remember exactly
probably 20 million lol
it isnt really possible to beat ed 5 normaly atm w/o lots and lots of grinding (like weeks or so for gluttony value to build up and stuff)
all the others who have the achievement are with a high probability cheaters
end beating the tournament is the easy part of ed5, the dk of ed5 is around 10 times (or was it 100 times) harder than the final tournament

Yeah, we probably need a few more areas first before we are able to beat it without a huge amount of grind. Which they want to give us eventually.

sadly the semi final or even the final itself aren't the hard part.
the final's boss stats are at around 10^14.
DK stats for ED5 are at 3.23*10^20 HP...
its not 10 or 100 its literally a million times harder.
currently: with ALL allies maxed and +all stats % set up
with 203k status up from astral world.
i can hit with holy light the DK for 2*10^16
and that's with ~15k% in gluttony all stats
dk will summon 8 times before resorting to violence.
so i can get around 16 strikes into him before its all over.
so i am short about 1000 times the dmg somehow...
getting status up to 2M from 200k will take forever and getting glutt from 15k% to 150% will take probably 30 days of 1hr DRs.
annnd i would still be around 10x short
even with tremendous grinding 30+ days this will still be impossible

(in case anyone was wondering all possible upgrades are cleared including astral and akashic)

Well, that's why I said without a huge grind. If you grind like 10000 Sins for 10000 Insp+ levels, which is doable with around 400 per day it only takes 25 days, you then can grind lots of status ups with 1h DR's and doing that for a weeks should easily give you enough stats to have a chance against DK5. But I'm just too lazy for that. Even before EC some ppl already were able to grind enough stats to do it. Though now with EC it is actually way more doable than before.

I'm just farming seeds / sins between expansions. I am not interested in grinding 2 million stat ups. Eventually, when far enough late-game content is released I will do it naturally. (Ive been playing this game for years btw) No reason to rush.

it is possible, some of those 1% are cheaters but i know for sure a couple that aren't, i also have beaten ed5. the trick is getting a lot of status up and matk envy, for status up farm insp+ in a bunch of quick reincarnations and for matk envy you need to max the luck from the fourth guardian summons, farm research with the guardian summons, use that research in greed to increase complaint gain per reincarnation, then just farm reincarnations until like 1.5k-2.5k insp+. though if you don't wanna go through the grind just wait until next area (or one after that) (edit: didn't notice this post was a few months old)

It's kinda disheartaning, i beat evil city, finished the tournaments, and to see i don't have a ghost of a chance vs the ed5 demon king feels kinda bad. I shoulda checked before trying ending 5...i guess.

at around 2 million status up you can reasonably reach ed5
still need a lot of mattack in gluttony and all the other easy boosts, but it is doable

i did it today with the following stats:
822k status up
Mattack envy level 148 (with strat body ofc)
102k% glutt
and all allies at max level
set up was very oriented for max dmg
main char with holy light
3 chars with sharp spike
last char with wind step and equip to give atk-attachemnt
used friendly formation for the 125% boost from the atk attachment
and heart of justice title. took a few rounds but DK5 went down
overall it was about 20 days of glutt and inspiration farming

Besides the actual stats I am ready to finish ED5, but I lost Norn. I need her to join my party but cannot find her. Can I get her back, or do I need to start the run again?

if you have done all the norn actions in academy city she should be back in your team, if you cant "find" her again you need to reincarnate

did you do the demon dungeon in academy city? its called cellar or something where she is abducted to, its the first dungeon in the list, before hoarders house, maybe you minimized it
sometimes i forget to do that dungeon, after that there is more dialog

In the beginning I did a cellar dungeon in academic city, but I did not get a message she is in there. Perhaps this was another one. Is there a way to trigger it? It is not showing up currently.

If you already graduated you probably locked the actions for her, you can only rescue her before graduating.
