Its as bad as Desperados III or is it worth it?
I played shadow tactics and I thought it was a great game and then I played Desperados III and I thought it was the biggest scam in the world, the same game, same dynamics, same characters but with different costumes. Even the story and missions are very similar.

Is this a new game or is it another Desperados III?

There's more changes between this and Shadow Tactics than there were between Shadow Tactics and Desperados as the fantasy undead pirate theme gives you more freedom with skills (eg. freezing time, firing people out of a cannon and throwing bushes for cover) and story. However I'd say the feel is quite similar - you're still going to be sneaking around viewcones, hiding bodies and trying to time actions to perfection.

If you found Desperados III significantly less fulfilling than Shadow Tactics then you might want to wait for this to be on sale. There's a demo you can try which does showcase several of the new characters who all have a mix of familiar and new skills which might help you make a decision.

I liked both games. In my opinion, the second game was different enough to be fun on its own. If you really didn't like D3, I would hesitate to recommend Shadow Gambit to you. They definitely changed a lot more, but still, there are only so much different skills and weapons you can create. Like most RTS game are basically the same. I think they really tried to spice things up in comparison to the first two games.

It is difficult to say, as I thought Desperados3 was a decent improvement on Shadow Tactics (aside from tone and story, which I prefered in ST).

There are definitely more changes in Shadow Gambit, but I don't think they are for the better, and they still work with the same core gameplayloop.

Game killed their studio, that is a telling sign that its likely not a good game.

The game did not kill their studio. Here is the link to their blog post which explains why it was their last game.

Talking out your ass with easily disproven BS is always a good look. Well done.

Transformers movies make money, therefore they are good movies?

Please stay on topic, we're not here to discuss the studio closing.

I call it B.S. since Desperados III had no Woke Artstyle or Characters and it was way better than this Circus. It's obvious why.

Woke art style? o.O This game is full of walking skeletons and similar cartoonish undead people. It is about as woke as any spooky sideshow attraction or House of Horrors.
