Captian Toad play gamewise like?

The trailer for this game really reminds me a captain toad on switch. Is it similar game play wise or just looks that way?

It's a puzzle game, but very different in the mechanics obviously. Builder's Journey is more relaxed compared to some of the more hectic portions of Capt Toad. This game is also a lot shorter, but it's still good. I'd say the puzzles are more complicated in this game, but they still are pretty easy. The only thing I would like to have added to this game that's in Capt Toad is full rotation of the puzzles (restricted to about 1/4 of a turn).

Obviously a very late response, but thanks for mentioning this game. It looks great and I'm going to grab it today.

Had Epic not given away LEGO Builders Journey today I would not have Googled its comparison to Captain Toad. Which in turn wouldn't have brought me here to find a other great diorama puzzle game.
