This game is closer to Prey.
The original DS did it best. DS:Re is tense to a lesser degree. CP generates no tension or atmosphere at all.
It goes from left right left to left left left. I call that Jacob's combat stutter.
Otherwise, you'll find it a slow and pretty mind-boggling easy romp through a cool looking space base.
Denny, above, has it right on. The game forces every encounter to be up close and personal, so you've literally got monster slobber in your face, hard to be scared when that's the design of the game.
