Why game dont have dlss and frame generation
What reason ? RTX 4070 cant run this game with raytracing same as cyberpunk 2077, runs at 30 fps
Fsr picture is poor , soap image

No option for DLSS is a common trend with AMD-sponsored titles unfortunately. Thankfully this upscaling war will soon go away due to industry pressure with DirectSR. https://devblogs.microsoft.com/directx/directx-innovation-on-display-at-gdc-2024/

That will be great as long as there's no big learning curve for devs to use it. I do recall when Dx 11 and Dx 12 came out, things didn't go so well for a while regarding devs use of it.

It's sponsored by AMD, It's also why the RT effects ingame are very low quality as is standard for AMD sponsored games.

Low quality rt effects ? But rtx 4070 cant tun it . Amd cards need rx 6900 xt minimal , for 1440P rx 7900xtx

Path tracing performance comparison
RTX 4060- RX 7700 XT
RTX 4060 Ti - RX 7800 XT , RX 6950XT
RTX 4070- RX 7900XT
RTX 4070 Super/ RTX 3090- RX 7900XTX

Just because you need a lot of performance to run it, Doesn't mean it's good. AMD sponsored games tend to have very lacklustre RT implementations.

Look at any AMD sponsored game, Jedi Survivor as an example, The RT effects are poop yet require a fairly decent GPU to run.

Now look at a game like Cyberpunk and the RT effects are some of the best in the industry and can be run fairly well with a decently mid range card.

It's really up to the publisher to get proper consultation from both AMD and Nvidia. Case in point, Avatar Frontiers of Pandora runs well on both AMD and Nvidia, WITH FSR 3 and DLSS 3, and has some of the best looking HDR of any game.

EA let AMD steamroll them on Jedi Survivor, and you can bet there was likely some money greasing their palms to get it done that way. The smart publishers know this is costly in the long run, because you upset a LOT of players.

I bet Stig was upset about it too, because it makes the dev team look bad.

No doubt, The game on PC launched in a pretty bad state performance wise, It could've been a lot better with better graphical features but once AMD get involved they set the bar pretty low in terms of RT quality and upscaling, Sadly it seems to be a common trend with AMD sponsored games.

Let's just hope SRDirect puts an end to AMD or Nvidia skewing the performance their way.

Game has a great implementation of FSR 2.1, as performant as DLSS, use that. Alternatively, it's an UE 4.27 game, you can even mod in TSR.

You can also mod in FSR3 Frame Generation.

FSR 1.0 isn't really a sponsored tech tho
Rune Mar 18, 2024 @ 8:16pm
FSR1 has been used in marketing and sponsorship in several of those titles listed, like Far Cry 6. Some games can't add FSR2 because they lack the spatial information needed by the game engine for it to work properly, like Sniper Elite's Asura Engine. But even if we excluded the FSR1 games, you still have a consistent trajectory of games lacking DLSS support when they are in the hand of AMD sponsorship, something you barely see with Nvidia sponsored games in comparison here. Games should not only have DLSS support, but also XeSS and other upscalers, which is why I mentioned DirectSR earlier, where it's basically a single code-path to enable all of them in DirectX. It's great in concept for developers and good for all of us who wants more options.
