crazy FPS drops?

most of the game i get around 90-120 fps in mostly high settings. but at times my fps will randomly drop down to like 7-20 fps.... idk if this is common for this game or not. please lmk if there are any fixes that could help

im running this on
rtx 3070ti
ryzen 9 5900x
32gb ram
1440p

rt on? same card and with rt ON it's drop down to 10-30 fps after like 22-30 mins :((
But under this 22-30 mins i have smooth exp... damn vram.
I feel really stupid now for buying 8gb nvidia crap...

sometimes thats what i think... if its the 8gb vram:/
but na not RT for me. i shoulda specified that when it randomly drops to 5-20 it will go back up to its normal rate in about 30-45 seconds

Yea... well you can experiment with this and drop res to 1080p, and see if problem still remain. Because 1440p eats vram too... and maybe you can confirm or exclude vram problem or not.

disbale raytracing . game doesnt support dlss and frame generation , rtx 4070 runs too poor

i started playing it. it runs pefectly because i have a monster pc that runs all games maxed 1440p 60 fps.
Benchmark says 84 fps with high graphics and ray tracing(maxed graphics) 1440p 60 fps with FSR.

That's not a monster. In fact, you might be CPU bottlenecked.

That's not a monster. In fact, you might be CPU bottlenecked.

But it runs maxed 1440p 60 fps like all games do since 2021 when i got RX 6700XT. And tthe bottleenck dont matter because is till run all games maxed 1440p 60 fps. It is a simple game because it is linear and dont have big battles with lot of enemies at the same time which means cpu is ever less important in such game.
