Can't beat it on Easy. Never in my life have I experienced a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ combat system like that one here.

Edit: I guess devs do it just to keep you longer in the game so people think you played it a lot.

That's what all of the vent crawling and forced walking areas are about. It's a 4-5 hour game without it.

Thought the real ending was locked into a separate, paid DLC?

This wasn't something I enjoyed. I think the whole story-DLC was pretty "weak". But after a few tries I finished it because for the purpose of it. If I remember correctly, being in motion and using the shotgun was the key. The fight has its patterns and damage phases, if you figure them out it becomes easy.

Just finish it, you can do it.

I beat her. Needed to buy a rifle, my shotgun and a pistol. Chased her around the two pillars like a fool and survided with the very last bar of health. On Easy.

Yeah, but there is one specific attack you can not dodge only block it. In which case you take some unavoidable damage, and in the middle of fight she just starts spam with it. The only way to beat her is to lower difficulty or search for cheasy tacticks

Shes pretty easy actually. She'll try to either slam the floor so just run away and then she'll try to punch you just one time. So dodge, hit her twice with a heavy and then a light or another heavy. She'll disappear after doing it a couple of times and then reappear and then she'll start lobbing fire balls from her chest at you. Shoot her exposed chest. She'll disappear again. Rinse and repeat the first step

I found it rather hard to "dodge" her slams. Since running or dodging isn't really a thing in this game. Jacob moves to slow for me most of the time to really dodge this attack. But as I said, getting chased around the two pillars by her and shooting her was my way to deal with it.

That's good that you beat her. Interestingly though how you beat her with the shotgun and by running. I didn't use any bullets to kill her. Instead, I used the hammer to beat the living hell out of her. I then used the GRP to throw every object at her. She died pretty quickly.

I was too afraid to try it with the hammer because of my energy level and her slams. As I said I left with the last bar of health when I finished her. :D But I guess there are indeed better or more efficient ways to beat her.
