Mmmm... sad, guess I'll still wait for user impressions, given it became kind of popular to hate on the game; but yeah, at the same time I've heard the DLC is like 2hrs long, maybe, MAYBE, it doesn't even add that much replay value. Would be cool if those rumours are wrong though, would love to use the new weapon in the base game and horde modes, as well as maybe even have a NG+ option for the DLC.

We'll see I guess.

Update: I finished it and yep. What even was that Glad I'm done. Hope it's the last of this series. I doubt I'll be interested in anything from this dev in the future.

Yeah I skimmed through it. I didn't find the base game very enjoyable and the ending in the DLC pissed me off. I may finish the base game eventually but certainly not purchasing this DLC.

What's worse is that the base game had better visual variety and that's saying something. It literally felt like two hours of maintenance halls and more prison cells. I appreciate what they attempted to do with the story but it just fell flat because it skipped such a pivotal point. Krafton absolutely butchered this entire game.

I'm not going to lie, I was very disappointed and I was really hoping that Striking distance studios would redeem themselves with this dlc.

Ok, I gave up and "played" DLC on youtube.
I think this so called true ending is fitting and suits the tone of this game. Never expected anything "happy" to happen.
But maybe a sort of sequel with that chick from the Boys? Who knows.

Goodness gracious. Tons of us so called “haters” have been yelling about the coming cataclysm aeons ago only for it to fall on deaf ears. People being people. Logic is never gonna triumph. The game has lost its entire investor base, what do you guys expect? A cyberpunk comeback?

Not unless someone with some mental illness decides to dump $10 mil or more into this pile of junk.

Yup. Ill stick to Dead Space. Played through this hoping it would be good. And it was decent. But there was hardly any lore etc. Just. Disappointing.

Finally the game comes to an end (no more dlc:s or false advertised bs). Sure, I would have loved for the devs to redeem themself with a story dlc worth the name, but at the same time... expecting that from a horribly bad studio with more wrongs than right... well it is what it is.

Me too. This is THE Game that single handedly caused me to no longer pre-order any more games. Krafton. Dead Space. Callisto Protocol just had to be awesome. Nope. The lack of any gameplay footage or demo pre-launch was a major red flag that I chose to ignore. And I paid the price, along with many others. A waste of $70. It's been 1 year & I still feel big disappointment for what this game could have been vs what it ictually was/is.
