- Melee everything if possible.
- Always sell everything except one Health Injector and one stack of each ammo. You could also keep batteries since they give you very little money.
- Prioritize upgrades that make you more resourceful: Melee range upgrade and block breaker improve your meleeing by a lot. Weapon damage upgrades means less ammo needed.
- Also I think restarting your checkpoint usually despawns stuff so either die or manually load the save in case you want to replay an area.
You literally chose the worst guns.
Starting pistol and Skunk gun are the strongest weapons in the game, period.
What evidence do you base this on?
The Assault rifle was the best performing weapon for me when fully upgraded.
The game says it gives you hardly any ammo and health drops but IMO that's not really true. Now that the AI patiently waits its turn you can just kill everything with melee. Game is super easy so I wouldn't worry much.
the AR's TTK is literally quadruple the skunk gun's. "i like this gun" is not a fact of any kind.
I just said it was the best performing gun for me lol. Never even used the skunk gun.
You only need the guns that are forced on you (mostly to sell their ammo) and the GRP.
Yeah, i just finish it. The last two chapters becomes difficult to upgrade or get new weapons because you use most credits to buy ammo since you don't get enough to kill all the twins and the last boss.
That's just false. I didn't buy ammo for the entire run and had more than enough ammo for every two head and the final boss.
You are wasting way too much ammo on normal mobs that you can just melee.
I swear that i basically kept all my ammo for both guns. The only thing I miss is pick up the items during Cpt. Ferris fight in the underground lab, but I only use the baton in that fight. In the last chapter you have to fight two twins, and for both fights I did not have enough ammo. The last fight maybe is not necessary but I bought just in case, since there is many pick ups during the fight.
