Far far better than launch day, many getting much improved performance now, others still not running well (although as a PC builder, many factors (hardware limits) might explain their problems for some folk, not all).
The game runs very well now on my 5800X/6800XT/32GB Ram system at 2K fully maxed out with RT on. Smooth frame rates and 60FPS average.
No doubt additional patches may help others still having problems.

Nope the RT was not fixed. Unless you are running a 4090 I’m which case you will still suffer stutters. And not those micro stutters we are talking about.

If playing without RT, performance is great.

For me, the game plays great with RT off, solid 90 fps, but the longer I play the performance slowly degrades with more stuttering, and eventually random, massive fps drops in certain areas.

One of the most unoptimized games I ever played. I can only imagine anyone who isn't experiencing this are either...

- Playing the game on extremely low resolution, and low settings.
- Don't notice the performance degrading.
- Don't care if the performance is degrading.
- Straight up lying, trolling.
- Has extremely powerful Radeon card that magically plays the game endlessly.

Which would explain why 60% are reporting bad performance, while leaving perhaps 40% that fall into that category I mentioned above.

No problems as I have already stated above, not wise in gaming to assume everybody has the same issues as some do. As I said above in my first post here, many factors could be the problem for some still after the recent patches.

I have done multiple videos
and i DONT have an extremely powerful Radeon
all i have an an RX 6600 NON XT

You can claim anything you like, but the following accusations have already been taken
so you will need to pick a new one.

edited GPU bios to report different card model
recorded video on different PC
inserted performance overlay post recording
recorded video on a console
sped up video in editing
video is fake from a different game (that one personally amuses me)

I've been interested in the game since its announcement, but the technical state at launch put me off. I pretty much always watch Digital Foundry's Technical Analysis before buying a AAA, and Alex's opinion on the PC version confirmed what everybody was saying.

Now I'm wondering, does the game make better use of cpu cores or is it still very much single thread performance limited?
Are the graphical settings still relegated to the main menu only or are they accessible from the pause menu now?

To answer your question, no it has not changed. Still horrible performance.
