Console Gamers need the developer to fix HDR, but at least on PC we can fix it our selfs.
I'll buy it when it's on sale or all the technical stuff is fixed.
I'm not here to fix the game, that's what the developers are for and it looks like they gave up on fixing it a long time ago.
but thx for tips buddy. :)
The developer should fix the game. Not the gamers.
At least on PC, we can do something about it our selves.
There is no more shader compiliation stutters in the game (is compiled at the start of the game). But RT performance is still broken, so I play without RT (on my 4090 PC).
The RT implementation in this game is of a very low graphical quality (its an AMD sponsered game), so its actually not worth it to use RT in this game, anyway. And I always use RT in most other games. SSR and lighting in general is great without RT.
You dont have raised black level???? That is a know issue.
Also, the game is way to dark. Its not realistic. The lighting level is simply set to low. Look at places where rooms are lighten up by powerfull light sources. Here the room should be light up much more.
I play on LG CX OLED
maybe you dont know what is the problem :-)
btw i have also LG OLED TV
I dont have that either
But on my friend's PC and Monitor, had similar to that (not even related to this game)
i never could get his to adjust right.
But the screen was HDR.
We gave up on it because if we got one thing to look right, then another HDR thing looked terrible.
LCD have most of the time bad HDR cause off missing tone map and local dimming
* Difference in OS (win10 vs win11) HDR output
* Hugely varying output and black level-quality from panel to panel
* Even driver versions and GPU brands have different approaches to HDR output
At this point you can not blame the game for not being pre-calibrated for every possible combination out there; I saved a couple profiles on my panel for some specific games and HDR Callisto looks fine to me after some tweaking.

The black level reaise is also a problem on PS5 and Series X.
Its not only an Nvidia issue.
It would be strange if AMD doenst have this issue on PC, also?
