Another (easier) solution could be turning down your Video settings just to get by that particular cutscene (are you running Ray Tracing, what's your performance like, etc., etc.).
You could also try to "verify" your game files (right click on The Callisto Protocol in your Steam Library and choose 'Properties', then verify the game files under 'Local Files').
