Lowering the brightness on your display helps a bit.
It makes the game look a lot better on my oled
I'm using default HDR and brightness settings from the game and only tinker a bit with monitor settings. I have very little to compare this to since I have new computer and monitor so it is only few games I have tested (Metro Exodus Enhanced edition, Dying Light 2, Cyberpunk 2077). My monitor is MSI Optix MAG281URF.
Black levels are OK.
True HDR is when you see all levels of brightness and when you see all the details in the brightest place without highlights and in the darkest corner without loss of contrast.
It's linked from Windows' display settings, but I'll just provide the direct link to the store.

Try that. Maybe it helps.
Also in the nvidia control panel set the color to default and NOT Nvidia, this is especially true for factory calibrated monitors like Alienware qd oled.
Your monitor allready displays perfect colors no need to screw it up
You mean all the profiles under the Advanced tab?
