This game is great or what! Anyone get a 90s space horror vibe like Aliens and Riddick from the gritty industrial environment, atmosphere. Cant wait for the dlc and hoping for a bright future as Dead Space is dead under EA.

What are you saying, combat is great for a starter IP and in comparison to other horror games. The melee is probably the best part. Rather than press a button > executes a animation for melee per player/enemy position, you now have some control over it and it feels glorious to beat the s* out of enemies by dodging. Its not like a beat-em-up, but pretty close

Tho I wish they had added the ability to use environment objects in multiple ways with force grip. Maybe. dlc expansion or sequel.

Guns are alright. Maybe theyll make him a bonafide supersoldier by next game, he was still a civilian pilot in this game so its alright i guess.

But the optimization...man...that scares me.
The suttering really ruins the experience for me.

You call them brainless sheep while you ignore the fact that people still have issues with performance, and the devs are aware too that's why they are releasing more optimisation updates?

This game may have problems, but at least it didn't go woke like the DS1 remake seems to be. I can't wait to hear about the genderfluid necromorphs.

I think its pretty much resolved. even before the patch I only had stutters for a second just before a sequence or a new area when texture streams. After, i barely got once or twice and I have a 7 yer old low tier cpu.

Im glad PC port issues are being talked about, when almost always no one gives a s* and they get awards while it runs crap for us at the same time, but in this case I think its a bit overblown, its completely playable and enjoyable. Itll only get better by the time DLC arrives.

I also get them, but only in the beginnings of areas. Theyll smooth this out eventually.

I havent even finished it, 12 hours in probably the last 2 chapters left. Will replay it by the time DLC arrives, has enough options for at least 2 playthroughs.
