Need help killing a boss

[Ghost]

So I'm kinda stuck at this boss at the freight on the way to Arcas Station.

I have enough ammo to kill the other head and bring him to his knees, but at second phase I'm out of ammo and just gotta rely on my trusty baton.

My attempts so far have failed.

Has anyone beaten this boss with just melee?

Anyone got tips?? :)

Nope, Reload previous saved game near reforge and buy more ammo. One thing I hate about this game, it doesn't tell you about boss fight and if you sell all your ammo for upgrades, you're just sol.

The boss is rather simple, if you have the ammo. Use the shotgun if you have ammo for it. Shoot once in the head and wait for the dodge and continue. Once he's on his knees, melee him to remove a head. Dodge, shotgun to head, dodge and repeat.

there should be enough ammo in the creates before you start the console. Open them all up just in case. throw enemies off the freight before hand to save ammo.

There are a bunch of crates scattered on the edges of the platform. Have you looted all of those yet?

yes ive looted them all and ive got 0 ammo left

I don't understand. There was so much ammo. Are you using your baton on him for a full combo when he gets stunned and falls to his knees?

You might need to go back to main menu and load a previous save and craft some ammo at the printing station.

Either that or try to get baton hits in after dodging his attacks. It's not easy because the dodge against that boss seems to put you further away than against other enemies. You can also try to be more ammo efficient against the regular zombies after loading the previous save.

Okay thanks for the replies. I'll give a couple more times killing him with just melee. Then will revert to my previous checkpoint and save more ammo lol
