checkerboard?!?!?

Is anyone else seeing a bunch of gray checkerboards in game? they're on all the doors and I got to the part in in the game where you 3D print your weapon and i can't see anything. It's covered in a huge gray checkerboard. Is there a way to fix it? i downloaded the patch they gave out yesterday. I definitely was not having this issue day one. Oh and i got force pulled by the CPT in the beginning of the game and my character was covered in gray pixels. like i was watching a Japanese porno. If you know anyway to fix this please let me know.

sounds like default unreal engine material (shader) being applied to models :>

I'm getting this too.
Played it last night and it was fine.
Today, I updated my graphics driver and got the game update and now see the same checkerboard appearance on all transparent type FX (like computer screens or the VFX surrounding "Locked" or "Unlocked" at doors.
Anyone have an idea to fix?

Same here, don't know a fix for it yet.

Verifying the integrity of the game files revealed some files that needed to be recovered.

After doing that, this issue was fixed for me. I hope that helps fix anyone else experiencing this (it's such a simple fix; I don't know why I didn't just try that the first time).

i just re-downloaded the game. fixed the issue.
