Almost double FPS with directX 11.

2080 Super. With RT on and settings maxed I was getting 39 FPS on the benchmark with directX12.
Switched to directX11 and shot up to 79fps. I'm not a tech guy, so what gives? Any cons from playing in X11?

Yes , RT will not be working. Thats why your FPS is so high.

Switching doesn't incease fps. That's not true, its placebo.

Specs : 12900k, 3090ti, 32gb ram (i forgot the speed)

Whoever said it is placebo is just flat wrong, I get 144 capped in dx 11 - but im in dx 12 capped to 60 on purpose and it stays at 60 and is playable

I just refunded. For $60 I want the best experience with RT. I'll rebuy on the first sale and a few patches will be out by then I'm sure.

Yea good, idea. If you played as long as i did, you see all these workarounds doesn't work at later part of the games.

The number of FPS is not the problem. The stutters ARE THE PROBLEM!
40 fps is still acceptable for some time, but sudden drops in frames/sec are just terrible.
