I am enjoying it unlike the other poo poo butt babies.. So yeah, the music is creepy, the sounds are good, dead space-like obviously. Should be patched soon as well.

12600k 2080 32gb ram, runs on average of 80 with a 1sec stutter every 10 to 20 minutes. All settings medium 1080p. If you have lower specs it would probably be still playable, never died to stutters and probably will be fixed. Also, this is a single player game, the immersion is GREAT and I don't really care about small stutters. Voices are great, lights (or shadows actually) and textures are awesome. This is Dead Space 4 imo :)

It IS an amazing game... maybe sometimes it tries too hard to be scary, maybe sometimes there is bad game design (you will see when you play it for 3h at least)... it isn't a solid 10 but at least an 8 for sure. Honestly, the stuttering problem it is VERY annoying for me, but the game is fun enough to keep my focus at the game itself.

I love it. The fighting mechanics were a ton of fun for me. Plus the atmosphere is incredible. It'll just be that much better when I can increase my graphic settings without lagging so I don't have to play Lego Callisto protocol

Yes it is good, and with the workarounds that have been found I've had zero stutters and good FPS on high setting at 1440p on my 2080 Super.

I would rate Dead Space 2 slightly better, but this game is 100% worth a play through.

So far enjoying it. I switched to dx11 and the game runs fine with only minor stutters at random spots.

The graphics are lovely, story is compelling so far, and the atmosphere and environment are great. I'm not a frame rate snob, but its the frequency and when the stutters occur that have been very immersion breaking, which is counterproductive to building tension and atmosphere. It shows excellent promise but I'd say wait to see if the patch helps.

It's.... meh. I feel not an ounce of fear or tension (but Alien Isolation broke my mind when i played it, i am unable to feel anything since i played that game).

Graphics are good but not jaw dropping, characters do dumb things, like the protagonist not shooting the terrorist chick when he has the chance to do so...

I don't know. It's not bad, but it really is not the masterpiece it was sold as by the PR team.

My suggestion: don't be dumb as me (and i consider myself dumb) and buy this game discounted. Heavily discounted.

But if you have money to burn... go ahead, it's not ♥♥♥♥, but sure as hell it's also not chocolate.
