So for example to get adaptive triggers etc on PC for Spiderman my PS5 controller can't be connected via Bluetooth?
Damn. Lets hope post support, but I doubt it...
So odd given the PS5 has no issues doing it via Bluetooth and you can update the controller on PC via USB.
Not the end of the world just odd choice when porting to PS5. Would have sold them a lot of extra PS5 controllers if it provided those features.
Yep, sadly it only works wired on PC to get those features.
Its not odd. PS5 has nothing to do with Steam/PC. Only the steam-api can make use of the "dualsense features" if wired.
To clearify that for you, steam-api basically means, you're using/running the game with Steam, period.
If you'd start a steam game with just the exe (if it doesnt have additonal drm/cp) it wont use the steam-api and thereforce would not have DualSense features.
Thats why you also need to add games from epic, etc. which have DualSense Feature support as a non-steam game, so the game is using the steam-api and you can have DualSense features.
For me they only work when using steam-api - you wanna tell me you have DualSense features when starting from xbox app or Epic!?
