Haven't tried yet but will do shortly.
I wouldn't consider the game perfectly playable at medium. At low it is quite ok. I will do a couple of other tests trying to fine tune.
Start by putting the game on medium preset.
Then:
framerate limit: 60
DX: 12
Resolution: 720p (16:10, as per deck screen) in order to make use of built in fsr.
Screen mode: full screen
Lighting: lighting quality standard, shadows , voulmetrics and particles all to medium
effects: depth of field ON, blur OFF, subsurface OFF, AA: FXAA, film grain OFF.
advanced: all to medium
With these settings (some names could be different, i am not playing in english) the graphic quality is still very good and FPS are 34.25 in the internal bench
There is the rare slowdown, but it's entirely playable.
I hope this makes someone happy :)
That said, the game is not entirely fluid, it goes from more than 40 fps to, sometimes, 25, and sometimes there are the stutters everyone talks about, so the final experience is not perfect, but it is entirely playable.
If they release a patch that solves the stuttering, and there's no reason to think they won't, it will be perfectly fine.
Those screenshots were made with the settings i described.
