Actual fix for microfreezing using the config file

Open config file:%localappdata%\Local\CallistoProtocol\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\Engine.ini

Add this at the end of the file:[/script/engine.renderersettings]r.CreateShadersOnLoad=1

Also try switching to DX11

Right now shader cache is being created in real-time everytime you encounter new VFX, this should be a fix. This this worked for me, I only have small freezes each time new location loads in (like after an elevator)

I tried this and it made a noticeable impact. I refused to sit through the opening cutscene because it was so bad, but now I'm well into the tutorial with very minimal stutters and much smoother feeling gameplay.

Oh, checking it now. It seems to either reduce the stutter greatly, or fully remove it.

All I did was add the line, and turn off upscaling. Still using DX12. Running 120 FPS.
Got a 3080. So not the most common video card

Does this somehow dicrease a graphic quality, or not?

I think it helped. I had less microfreezing after adding 1 line in the config file

I used this. Kept dx12, turned off DSR since I have an Nvidia GPU, restarted the campaign. And now after getting to the prison, everything runs buttery smooth.
