The game won't launch

I hit play and nothing happens. The game doesn't start. Did anyone else encounter this issue?

upd. win7 compatibility mode and running as administrator helped launch the game

Having the oculus app installed & running is actually helping some people launch the game, something to do with the game reading for VR dlls or something. Best of luck & hope it works.

I even tried that but that also did nothing. Hours wasted trying to get this to just load. I think it's time to throw in the towel & refund :(

setting compatibility mode to windows 7 and run it as an administrator worked for me
