PS5 vs PC Price
Just noticed that Digital Deluxe price for both systems is completely different. On PS5 it's 89.99 and on Steam it's 79.99 USD. Is there a reason for that just curious?

Maybe PS5 has a fee for selling the game? Interesting..

Probably because the default price for games on the PS5 is $70 and on PC it's still $60.

I'm pretty sure the base price is 69.99 on PS5, that is probably why.

Well if that's the case I will purchase it on PC

Console can charge a premium because of the better performance :steamhappy:

That's the way it's been for a long time, aside from AAA publishers. PC games are usually 10 cheaper than their console counterparts. It used to be said it was because of digital vs. physical manufacturing, but I'm pretty sure it has to do with licensing or something like Apple does with their extra tax for the privilege of having the game on their store.

Dunno, either way, it allowed me the extra to buy the deluxe edition, so I won't complain.

Should be CONSOLE vs PC as Xbox is the same way

So apparently the PC version of this game is completely broken. That would explain why it's more money on PS5

Better performance? A Console is just a PC with extra bloatware security. I'm not sure how you can compare something you can buy once and upgrade to a paperweight with limited games and services.

Yeah. Must be why the Series X Deluxe is also $89.99. Right? LOL! Do some of you people think before posting?

a PC roughly on console level costs 1000 to 2000 euros. A console is comparatively cheap at 500 euros for the same performance. none or only a few would buy a console for +1000 euros. that was also the plan so that in the end they make more sales, they knock up the losses from the consoles on the game prices.

I find it really funny to observe that some console players are getting upset that they are being disadvantaged, as is the case with TLOU(The Last of Us), because they are crying about Sony now bringing the game to the PC too. but again 10 euros cheaper. Playing as a hobby no matter which platform is not cheap. A PC just costs more to buy and as a console player you spend more money on games over the years.

Yes but for some games the optimization is better and the performance is top quality :steamhappy:
