Day one edition vs Deluxe edition difference?

What is the difference? What comes to the day one edition and what will be included in the after day one edition?

Read the store page. Day 1 edition comes with the game and a couple skin packs. The deluxe edition comes with the day 1 edition and a season pass for future content including another skin pack, a horde mode with new enemies and death animations, a perma-death mode and a story continuation expansion.

Thanks for the explanation. The store page is not so comprehensive. So the difference between buying now and later is the skin pack that comes with the D1E. Ok.

how is this not "comprehensive?"

The Season Pass includes:

Where it says about D1E content? It's the DE description.

He is right the German store page says nothign about D1E only about the Deluxe Edition and that information is for some odd reason only shown in English on the German page.

omg, not this again. It's a brand new difficulty mode not originally planned for the base game. If this game didn't even have a season pass, you wouldn't even miss it. They can't just adjust a couple health and damage sliders and call it a day, they need to balance enemy placement, pick ups, health and damage etc. How is THIS so hard to comprehend?

It is likely not changing. So I guess you will get the skins also when getting it later. The only thing I could think of, that they remove the deluxe edition on release as well and you would have to buy each item separately - which would make sense, but is not certain. Both packages only make sense if bought before release looking at the extras. And the deluxe edition only makes sense if the season pass is more expensive than 20 bucks. Also the skins might not be available post release. But yeah it is a guessing game.

The ways of publishers are mysterious sometimes.
