NVIDIA GAME OPTIMIZATION FUNCTION (RECOMMENDATIONS) !!!

Geforce Experience and The Calisto Protocol

Friends, maybe you know, Nvidia's Geforce Experience program has a game optimization function. However, see, I think this name is a very wrong naming.
Now look, can you take a look at the "necessary" changes he recommended to me as the supposedly optimized settings of The Calisto Protocol game?

To understand how bad these recommendations mean (that is, the same as cursing and making fun of us), you need to know my PC hardware and evaluate these optimization recommendations or "game optimizing" accordingly.

My graphics card is Rtx 3090, my processor is i9 11900KF, Pci 4 M2 SSD, 128 GB Ram!

Now look, this so-called "game optimizing" tool tells me:

If you want to play your game fluently without stuttering,

“Turn off all Ray-tracing settings!

Turn off the V-sync feature that prevents tearing!

4K resolution is too much for you, 2K is enough, lower your resolution to 2560*1440!”

Are you taking us for fools, idiots and idiots! What kind of business is this? Is this called game optimizing? Or is it to prevent us from using innovative technologies that we bought for such a high amount of money and that you could not finish while selling them to us?!

Are we supposed to optimize our games so that we don't use your ineffective, inept technologies and see how useless they are? Look, see with an example!

I bought a 3090 video card, you are telling me (ie Geforce Experience tells me) to use 4K resolution! You know, this amazing 3090 graphics card was providing a “true 8K gaming experience”! What happened!?

When you sell this card you are telling me, “We provide you with Ray Tracing technology that provides great visuals!” Then you say: “Disable all Ray-Tracing features!”

I bought a LG Oled 4K television, because it supports your famous G-Sync technology, so I spent a lot of money to be able to play games in the highest visual quality and fluently on this television with 120 Hz refresh rate. You say to me: “This technology tires your game and your computer! Turn off V-sync! Even put Fps lock to avoid stuttering, don't go above 30 and 60 fps!”

Are you kidding me or swearing?!

Don't I have the right to curse each and every one of the video card, program, game and operating system you will make?

How do you work?!

Vsync and gsync are not the same thing. Actually, turning of the vsync will let you enjoy the benefits of gysnc.

Nvidia is giving good advices for you to get more than 100 fps for this game. You cant play this game with rtx ultra above 60 fps. Wait for developers to optimise the game.

They should've been more clear and explain the 1440p was for raytracing-- 4k without it should be no problem for you whatsoever.

Meanwhile 4k native raytracing in triple-a games hasn't been playable at 60fps on any gpu, DLSS3's frame generation is the key to doing it upscaled; let's hope older-gen GPU's like ours will get a similar boost, and games like this one will have it patched in soon.

I agree.

Yes, I fully support! It's not bullying, it's just that they don't care. After all, now many of the latest games are specially not fully optimized so that people run after video cards. But AMD and the developers went to the open! They deliberately bugged us with DLSS 2.0 (at a time when NVIDIA is pushing DLSS 3!) just to show how good AMD cards are with FSR! Yes, this is business and not curvature! on my 4090 and core i7 9700 even the initial splash screen and menu stutters. I'm going to write a negative review despite the fact that the game is good. The developers went too far, of course. at least they could remove the denuvo so that the players can breathe easy. But no ! Denuvo will be on top of the purposely optimization curve. in busy scenes on my 4090 card AFTER PATCH! The game still doesn't run smoothly. like my computer is about to reboot to hell!

Because game have broken RT and its not patched yet?! So its your choice really, play with lower fps and textures glitches or at the moment enjoy game without RT with high fps. As u probably see it, game was build with amd support not nvidia thats why RT is not properly implemented.

The recommended requirements of the developers are false. what kind of nonsense is this if the game has the support of one company, then it will be good only on the products of this company? it looks like discrimination. I don’t want to say bad things about the developers in general, but to substitute the owners of Nvidia and Intel is a gross mistake.
My PC and Oled TV Information and Hardware Analysis Photos

(TechPowerUp GPU-Z and CPU-Z and The Calisto Protocol Pc desktop shortcut!)

Let's see what is my processor and video card and do I own the game or not? I don't have a TV!? Meaningless people! Those who do not care what is said and think about meaningless things!

My graphics card is Rtx 3090, my processor is i9 11900KF and Ram 128 GB. Here you go and be ashamed! Also my TV is LG Oled 65BX6LB!

Attached is the photo showing that I have the same review on my other Steam account!

^ You can expect not owning the game to be the first thing people hold against you when complaining here-- it's your own fault for not posting with that account to begin with.

Now on-topic; Agreed its insane how nVidia GeForce Experience treats a 3090/11900K combo.. but nVidia has its own forums where you can voice that complaint, and I think your post would be more meaningful there.

I deliberately choose a custom driver install so I can uncheck GeForce Experience anyway; no need for "recommendations" when I can tinker and find my own settings, thank you.

PS: 3060Ti and 5900x here, smooth ride since latest patch.

yes, and here we have to praise the developers that we have launched at least their game :steamhappy:Nvidia takes the rap for everyone:steamsad:

At the expense of GeForce Experience - I do not advise you to use it at all. I myself used it a couple of times and realized that it was not necessary .:spinnyhat:

Don't use GeForce experience for recommendations, lol.

I confirm. rt off. using no vsync in game, gsync on, frame limiter at 60 fps, the game is smooth. without g-sync the game stutters frequently.
